A full day across the border in Botswana's Chobe National Park — river cruise and game drive on one of Africa's richest wildlife corridors.
Chobe National Park sits just across the border in Botswana and holds one of the largest elephant populations on the continent, alongside buffalo, hippo, crocodile and prolific birdlife along the Chobe River. This full-day trip combines a boat cruise on the river — where most of the game comes down to drink — with a game drive through the park itself.
Because this crosses an international border, we handle the paperwork on the Botswana side as part of the day — one of our co-owners works in immigration, so this is something we take particular care to get right.
Bring your passport — you'll need it for the border crossing. Check whether your nationality requires a visa for Botswana and let us know in advance so we can confirm requirements before your trip. This is a full day out, so pack sun protection, a hat, and a light layer for the boat cruise.
